The field of competition was stiff at the 24th Annual Jack Daniel’s World Championship Invitational Barbecue in Lynchburg, Tenn. on Saturday, October 27. Nearly 90 international and domestic competitive barbecuing teams battled it out for the coveted title of Grand Champion in what competitors and fans consider the world's most prestigious barbecue competition.

Teams brought their best, but Pig Skin BBQ of Rockwell, Iowa, was ultimately named Grand Champion. Swiggin' Pig from Nashville, Tenn was named Reserve Grand Champion.
